About Rubrica
Rubrica is a production AI web platform built end-to-end by Kinexapps for students at secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels across Australia, the UK, and the US. The product solves a very specific problem — students rarely know how their draft actually maps to the rubric until it has already been marked. Rubrica closes that loop by analysing assignment briefs, rubrics, and drafts together and returning a criterion-by-criterion coverage report with quoted evidence pulled directly from the student's work.
Every rubric check returns a structured breakdown: which criteria are strong, which are partially covered, and which are missing entirely. For each gap, Rubrica suggests a voice-preserving rewrite of the relevant paragraph — keeping the student's own tone while strengthening the argument. Citations are verified against CrossRef so hallucinated references and broken DOIs are flagged before the work is submitted.
The SaaS runs on a pay-per-check credit model ($0.49 per check) with a $1.50 welcome credit, six free tools that require no signup, and automatic refunds when a check fails.
